Sirius Key Highlights

The little design choices that make this model stand out.

The Sirius' air sprung fork tames bumps and knobby tires maintain traction when the ride gets rough.
With the Enviolo internal gear hub, just twist the shifter to find your perfect gear. There's no such thing as a "missed shift" with this step-less system that provides a wide gearing range. Unlike derailleur gears, you can shift anytime - while pedaling, coasting, or at a stop.
Stopping duties are handled by powerful hydraulic brakes which self-adjust for consistent power as the pads wear. We specify brakes with mineral oil as it lasts longer between service and is less toxic for our world.
Reviewers love the Sirius

Every component, carefully chosen

No heavy batteries, overpowered motors, or clunky profiles. The Sirius was designed to perfectly balance performance, value, and looks.

Goodbye traditional chains.

  • Lasts 3x longer than a chain!
  • No grease, no grime.
  • Doesn't stretch over time.
  • Whisper quiet and smooth as silk.
  • Maintenance free!

Hello Belts!

The battery is easily detachable from the bike with the twist of a key. Charge the battery from anywhere and leave the bike behind!

The Sirius comes with hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm rotors to ensure maximum stopping confidence on the road.

The Sirius comes fitted with cleverly thought-out mounting points for maximum versatility. Racks, fenders, baskets, boombox? No problem.

Find your perfect fit

We recommend you compare your inseam measurement, taken wearing shoes you are likely to ride in, to the stand-over height of our various models. As long as you've got around 1" of clearance over the top tube you'll likely be good to go! If you're on the cusp between sizes we generally recommend sizing up!

Fantastic bike, even more fantastic customer service.

The specs you get (internal hub, belt drive) for the price is simply unbeatable. Had a relatively minor issue with my bike, customer service was extremely quick to respond and shipped me a new part, no questions asked. 10/10 could not be more satisfied.

Lots to like about the Sirius

Config: Sirius with Enviolo IGH. Odometer: 450 miles. Ride: I commute 20 miles roundtrip on rural coastal roads often with 20-25 mph headwinds. Four short 5 degree hills. Range: @ 20 miles. One half of my 10 mile commute consumes @ 45-50% of the battery. Riding into the headwinds consumes 65-70%. I recharge at home and the office after each 10 mile ride. Add-ons, a rear rack from Sirius, a Suntour NCX suspension seat post. A Portland design works 27.5x2.5" fender on the rear and a SKS Shockboard XL fender on the front. Rear view mirror (can save your life).

Other ebikes I own are both Luna's. I have a KHS 3000 fat tire with 1000 Bafang BBHSD, 52v, 27AH battery (The Beast) and a Luna Stealth belt drive, Nexus 3 sp IGH with 500wh mid-drive motor and 36v 7AH battery . A quick and fun road bike.

The Sirius is well made and fits right between The Beast and the road bike. I'm glad I went with the Enviolo IGH. It is perfect for my type of commute. I doubt I'll ever buy another chain drive. As soon as you unbox it, put the Class 3 controller on. Also, use the Xplova app to set the sensitivity to HIGH. Neither of the Luna bikes have speed controllers and they are not required in the Caribbean where I live. It is the only Con to the Sirius. I'm looking at ways to dis-able it. I will buy the 500wh battery as soon as it comes back in stock. Suggestion to Vvolt, offer even larger batteries. I imagine plenty of folks will buy the upgrade.

    Practically Perfect

If I were to build a perfect ebike it would have the best, proven industry components like a German-made motor and an LG battery. I would go with the Enviolo and carbon fiber drive system and never have to bother with greasy chains and touchy derailleurs ever again. I would opt for air shocks over springs, ride it on Kenda tires and keep it simple stupid with a controller that does not require a degree in computer programming to operate. I would have the frame built and components assembled in Taiwan where most of the worlds bikes are made, where they know what they’re doing and opt for sizing and weight of the components to fit the geometry of the bike, not too big and not too small. Finally, I would offer an unheard-of 3 year warranty backed by exemplary and personalized customer service and sell it for way less than any other eBike in its class. It was hard to pull the trigger on a bike I’ve never test ridden. I have ridden countless eBikes and, after a single ride on my new Serius, have no regrets buying 2 of these.

    Not a real review

I don't have one (yet) but my neighbor does and I've ridden it quite a bit. He likes to ride my Honda Ruckus, so we do a lot of lending back and forth.

It's a great e-bike with lots of positive things to say about it. I really do like it a lot. Love the mid drive motor, the Enviolo, the belt drive... But there is one downside that's holding me back from getting it and that's the very anemic battery it ships with.

We live in a fairly hilly area and it takes a lot of nursing to get 15 to 20 miles out of a full charge.

I see it has a newer battery available but it's still only 36v 14ah. In today's market I would think a 48v 14ah would be the absolute bare minimum, at least for me. Even then, I doubt I'll get one less that 48v 20ah.

So I'll just enjoying riding my neighbors and hope a not to distant future model has a more capable battery.

    Buy with confidence

I actually bought a proxima which the no longer make, but I wanted to leave a review because this company is amazing. The bike is great. Rides well and is fun. But Vvolt is 100% customer focused. They will do everything possible to help you. I can't say enough about this company.
