Sirius Key Highlights

The little design choices that make this model stand out.

The Sirius' air sprung fork tames bumps and knobby tires maintain traction when the ride gets rough.
With the Enviolo internal gear hub, just twist the shifter to find your perfect gear. There's no such thing as a "missed shift" with this step-less system that provides a wide gearing range. Unlike derailleur gears, you can shift anytime - while pedaling, coasting, or at a stop.
Stopping duties are handled by powerful hydraulic brakes which self-adjust for consistent power as the pads wear. We specify brakes with mineral oil as it lasts longer between service and is less toxic for our world.
Reviewers love the Sirius

Every component, carefully chosen

No heavy batteries, overpowered motors, or clunky profiles. The Sirius was designed to perfectly balance performance, value, and looks.

Goodbye traditional chains.

  • Lasts 3x longer than a chain!
  • No grease, no grime.
  • Doesn't stretch over time.
  • Whisper quiet and smooth as silk.
  • Maintenance free!

Hello Belts!

The battery is easily detachable from the bike with the twist of a key. Charge the battery from anywhere and leave the bike behind!

The Sirius comes with hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm rotors to ensure maximum stopping confidence on the road.

The Sirius comes fitted with cleverly thought-out mounting points for maximum versatility. Racks, fenders, baskets, boombox? No problem.

Find your perfect fit

We recommend you compare your inseam measurement, taken wearing shoes you are likely to ride in, to the stand-over height of our various models. As long as you've got around 1" of clearance over the top tube you'll likely be good to go! If you're on the cusp between sizes we generally recommend sizing up!

I am in love with this bike!

I took my bike camping in Santa Fe, Ghost Ranch, Pagosa Springs, Vallecito, Durango and Flagstaff, progressively more challenging terrain, starting with paved bike paths, ending with downhill cross-country ski area and mountain bike runs. This bike is quick and nimble. I added Shimano PD-T421 Click'R SPD Pedals for more oomph. Everything else seems perfectly balanced, including the tires. I weigh 200, but rarely drop below 2/3 on the battery meter after two-three hours at 1, 2 or 3. I maxed suspension settings thinking it would be weak at this price. Opps, I needed to back off (a lot), nice flexibility. I expected to request a higher capacity battery but haven't seen the need. I will probably want an extra battery since I dry camp a lot. Amazingly, my Class 3 upgrade remains boxed, I haven't really needed it. I love the quiet powerful assist, smooth transmission, and capability to stop on a steep incline, then restart going uphill with low gear and high assist. No wasted mental BW to anticipating gearing. This bike has exceeded my expectations. I toss it in the back of my VW SUV, or on the special roof-top carrier and go! Everything stays clean, even without using the roof rack. (You might consider selling the new roof rack that (barely) accommodates this bike. It was hard to find).

Best Bike I've Ever Owned or Rode

Bought primarily for recreation, I initially feared that I wouldn't get enough exercise but that is not the case since I try to conserve the precious battery to last the whole ride. Consequently, I'm able to go longer and further than with my analog bikes. (This is my first e-bike and I live in a mountain town.) The Larger size fits my 6'4", 195 lb body well. The bike is surprisingly comfortable and smooth. Unboxing and putting it together was super easy. I'm highly satisfied with all components with 2 exceptions:

1.) 160mm brake rotors are just OK (even my comfort bike has 180mm).

2.) Battery capacity - I have too much range anxiety while riding but maybe I just need to adjust my expectations and plans while I just have the smaller 375 Wh battery. I plan to get the 500 Wh battery as soon as it becomes available again.

I'm not used to such a heavy bike but I'm still adjusting to the trade-off (weight vs. power). I also just read that the Enviolo hub has a ~300 mile break-in period so that adds some drag now. I've had the bike for 2 weeks and went on 2 rides on nice days:

1.) 24 miles on gravel and single track, 1700' gain using 75% of the battery, using PAS 0 to 3.

2.) 41 miles on paved/gravel/dirt roads, 1885' gain using 100% of the battery, using PAS 0 to 4.

    Great Bike

Great Bike, love the belt drive, and the mid engine, but it truly need more power. The range of the battery is woefully limited. I hope you're working on a way to fix this.

    Thanks

Fantastic bike, even more fantastic customer service.

The specs you get (internal hub, belt drive) for the price is simply unbeatable. Had a relatively minor issue with my bike, customer service was extremely quick to respond and shipped me a new part, no questions asked. 10/10 could not be more satisfied.

Components & Specs

Full component specifications for our fellow nerds. Find the full component specsheet here.

Enviolo Hub

Way better than derailleur gearing, the Enviolo TK continuously variable transmission hub features a 380% range and never needs adjustment.

MPF 6C Motor

We're fans of the strong and silent type, so we use an MPF mid-drive motor with all-metal gearing in an oil lube bath. It has 350-watt nominal power and 650-watt peak output.

Mid-Motor Battery

Our 375Wh standard battery provides 15 to 40 miles of range depending on terrain, assist level, and other factors. An upgraded 500Wh battery is also available for increased range and power. All of our batteries are removable and can be charged on or off the bike.

Class 1 / Class 3 Controller

Our mid-motor bikes can be configured with a Class 1 (motor assistance up to 20 mph) or a Class 3 (motor assistance up to 26 mph) controller.

Suspension Fork

The Sirius features air-sprung fork with 100mm of tunable travel and a compression/lockout adjuster. 1 1/8" straight steerer and 15 x 100mm thru-axle.

Brakes

Hydraulic brakes paired with 160mm rotors provide ample stopping power.

Gates Belt Drive

Carbon reinforced belts from Gates® last longer than chains, operate quietly, and don't require greasing. No more unintentional chainring tattoos!

Tires

27.5" x 2.1" tires with knobby tread to take on some mild off-road riding.
