5 pedal assist levels

Pedal Assisted Fun

No throttle, no problem. Alpha keeps the bike in ebike with a pedal assisted drive system, meaning you still have to pedal. Choose from 5 asist levels. Keep it in 1 or 2 when cruising on the flats or punch it up to 4 or 5 when topping out the hills.

Selecting Your Size

Please refer to both rider height and stand over. To find Stand Over: Take your inseam measurement wearing shoes you are likely to ride in. As long as you've got around 1" of clearance over the top tube you'll likely be good to go! If you're on the cusp between sizes we generally recommend sizing up!

    Great bike

I've had the Alpha for a few weeks and so far really love the performance and simplicity. Despite being a single gear bike it's able to climb the 350 foot hill out of our neighborhood with ease.

    So far so good!

So far, really loving this bike. It was a little frustrating to put together alone (bike is heavy!) but once put together, it's very straightforward.

Definitely suggest priming the breaks with a short ride in a flat area like a parking lot. They do take some work to make them sensitive.

It takes a little for the different levels to kick in, but not long. You'll feel it. I don't really have phantom pedaling issues- I think it's just a matter of knowing what level to be on for the ground you're trying to cover.

The belt is so quiet. It's delightful.

My only complaint is the rack I ordered- they bent it to shape to fit the alpha, which is fine, but should include a note to put it on *before* the front wheel. Otherwise you have to remove the wheel to get it on under the front suspension fork.

I'll probably return to this in a few months to give a more nuanced review after I've used it more.

    Alpha Vvolts

I bought 2 Vvolt Alpha bikes, 1 for me and my husband. So far we have enjoyed the smooth ride. It was easy for my husband to assemble. My only complaint is that my bell stopped working on my 2nd ride. We ride on trails, so it is a necessary thing to have.
