What to expect after placing your order
First of all, thank you for your order! Here's what to expect:
All ebikes ship out of our HQ in Portland, OR. Our workshop team inspects each bike before shipment, ensuring quality and safety.
1. You will receive your order confirmation email in your email
2. Our workshop processes your order in 1-3 business days, performing a 128-point inspection on your new ebike.
3. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number as soon as we ship it out to you.
4. Your Vvolt departs our Portland warehouse via UPS or FedEx.
5. Expect to receive your new ebike in about 7 days!
Shipping and Returns
- Free shipping within the continental US on all ebikes.
- You can exchange your ebike for FREE within 14 days
- We also offer returns within 14 days of delivery with a flat return fee.
Warranty information
Our ebikes include a standard (3) three-year warranty against manufacturer’s defect, with no mileage limitations. It covers issues you may have with your bike, including battery, motor, transmission, belt, wheels, brakes and other components.

Advanced shifting tech
Autoshift3
Centauri II knows when to change gears. The internal rear hub transmission changes gears from 1-3 as you speed up and slow down. It’s entirely mechanical, and the hub is designed to run for thousands of miles without service. A sealed internal oil bath provides continuous lubrication and is serviceable by bike shops.
Smooth out bumps
Integrated monoshock suspension
Smoothing out the ride without adding weight, complexity, and maintenance is a tall order. Centauri II ditches the complexity of mountain bike suspension forks for a single, friction-damped coil spring with 30mm of travel. Without complex seals and dampers to maintain, it’ll run for years with nothing but an occasional re-greasing.

The top-level Gates CDX belt lasts 4x longer than traditional chains with virtually zero maintenance. It's not a Vvolt if it's not belt driven.

Our 490Wh / 13.6ah battery delivers up to 60 miles of real-world range on pedal assist. All of our batteries are removable and can be charged on or off the bike.
Gates belt drive
Carbon reinforced belts from Gates® last longer than chains, operate quietly, and don't require greasing. No more unintentional chainring tattoos! Centauri II features the premium CDX system.
Mid-drive motor system
The Centauri II has a smooth 350w nominal motor that peaks at 650w with 120Nm of torque, and it's equipped with internal torque, cadence, and speed sensors.
Onboard controller display
The Ananda D16 provides rich colors and easy to read information, with a convenient left-thumb remote so your hands stay on the bars and in control.
Front suspension
A little is all you need to smooth out city streets! 30mm of firm travel combines with our cushy tires to make a smooth ride, with less weight and maintenance than traditional mountain-bike shock forks.
Integrated lights
Our Multivision lights do more! the front light has an outer diffuse light ring to visibility surrounding a high-power LED with vertical cutoff to maximize road view for the rider, plus a USB-C power outlet. Integrated lighting and reflective graphics deliver 360º visibility all the time.

Is the Boost button a throttle?
Technically, no! However, if you press the boost button for one second between 5 and 20 mph, you'll get four seconds of uninterrupted full power!
Suppose you round a bend, and an unexpected punchy climb awaits you. Hit the boost and blast off! It's a quick shortcut to the highest assist level when you need it.
How does it handle climbing hills?
When the terrain gets steep, you can count on the Centauri II to be a dependable and confident climber. Its powerful motor delivers 120 Nm of torque, providing a smooth and exhilarating ride up hills. You can tackle climbs of over 2,000 feet in elevation gain with a smile!
How much range can I get on a full charge?
With its powerful 490Wh battery and efficient motor, it’s perfect for just about any riding adventure you can think of! In our real-world trials, we’ve seen amazing results—over 23 miles in Turbo mode and a whopping 64 miles in Chill mode! It’s impressive how using moderate assist can really stretch your range beyond expectations. Sure, tough riding conditions like hills and strong winds might drain it a bit faster, but for your daily commutes or longer rides, the Centauri II is an incredibly dependable choice.
How does the AutoShift3 hub work?
It's like a mind reader! Just kidding, but it really shifts at the right moments! The Vvolt AutoShift3 hub is a fully sealed, 100% mechanical internally geared hub that utilizes two centrifugal clutches to shift based on the rider’s wheel speed. It shifts from first to second gear at 12 mph, and from second to third gear at around 20 mph. To downshift, simply coast below the shift points and start pedaling! The shifts are seamless and smooth, guaranteed to bring a smile to your face!
