Choose from 5 asist levels. Keep it in 1 or 2 when cruising on the flats or punch it up to 4 or 5 when topping out the hills. Alpha II also features a throttle which comes in handy when taking off or just having some fun.
Find your perfect fit
We recommend you compare your inseam measurement, taken wearing shoes you are likely to ride in, to the stand-over height of our various models. As long as you've got around 1" of clearance over the top tube you'll likely be good to go! If you're on the cusp between sizes we generally recommend sizing up!

I had not been on a bike in 45 years. I was intrigued by the electric bikes and did a fair amount of research.Most reviews focus on how fast can it go? Well, at 68, I don’t need fast as much as encouragement. The Alpha 2 caught my eye. Simple , clean lines, a single speed with a belt drive, and just the right amount of electric oomph, when I need it, to remind me why I loved riding bikes. The PAS levels are my gears. They have helped me conquer hills I couldn’t do with my old 10 speed. The V Volt, Alpha 2 is a winner in my book.

Battery System (UL2271 Compliant)
Standard 375Wh removable battery provides 20 to 45 miles of range, or upgrade to long-range battery for up to 60 miles. Your mileage will vary depending on terrain, assist level, and other factors.
Gates Sidetrack Belt Drive
Carbon reinforced belts from Gates® last longer than chains, operate quietly, and don't require grease -- no more unintentional chainring tattoos!
Rear Hub Motor
Our rear hub motor gives you 350 watts (550w max) of power and 45 Nm of torque.
Controller Display
The D20 on-board display provides easy to read information, while the left-side remote allows you to change settings without taking your hands off the bars.

Vvolt custom aluminum stepthrough frame and fork fit with front and rear mounts for racks and fenders.
360° Lighting System

Class 1 or Class 2 Enabled
Equipped with an easily removable throttle, Alpha II can be configured as Class I or 2 depending on whether or not the throttle is attached.
We programmed the throttle to provide "safe-speed" 80% power when applied. That's still 430 watts!

Axles/ Dropouts
A two-piece adjustable rear dropout makes for easy rear wheel removal. The 15x110 front thru-axle provides secure and easy front wheel attachment.
