Meet Evee: Our Very Patient AI Assistant

If you’ve reached out to us lately, you may have met Evee, our AI-powered support assistant. Evee is here to help answer common questions faster, point you toward useful resources, and gather the details we need when something requires a human touch.

Basically: Evee is an interactive FAQ with a better attitude.

Vvolt is run by a small team of humans. Four of us keep the bikes moving, the emails answered, the parts shipped, the product improving, the bills paid...you get the point. We are not always at our desks, and a lot of the questions we get have answers we’ve already written down somewhere: in help articles, product pages, blog posts, setup guides, troubleshooting notes, and years of customer replies.

Evee helps surface that information without making you wait for one of us to type it again for the 900th time.

What Evee Can Do

Evee has been trained on Vvolt’s support resources, including:

• Help articles and how-to guides
• Product pages and blog posts
• Common rider questions we’ve answered before
• Troubleshooting steps and setup information
• Vvolt-specific policies, timelines, and operational notes

For many questions, Evee can get you an answer right away. Need to know how a part works, where to find a guide, what a blinking display means, or when something usually ships? Evee is often the fastest path.

What Evee Cannot Do

Evee is helpful, upbeat, and impressively tireless. It is not omniscient.

Sometimes it may misunderstand a question, miss the nuance, or confidently wander into the weeds. That is the nature of the tool. We’ve trained Evee to be useful, not mystical, and sometimes we forget to give it the most up-to-date information! 

The more clearly you explain what’s going on, the better it can help. If you’re troubleshooting, include the bike model, what happened, what you’ve already tried, and any photos, videos, order numbers, or error messages you have. Even when Evee can’t fully solve the issue, that context helps us step in with a much better starting point.

Evee Is Not a Gatekeeper

Evee is not here to prevent you from talking to a real person.

If you want a human, just say so. Tell Evee you’d like to speak with someone at Vvolt, and your message will be handed off to our team.

You’ll get a real human reply within 48 hours during our normal support hours: Monday–Thursday, 10 am–4 pm Pacific.

Fridays are reserved for us humans to do fun, non-work human stuff. Like gardening, or riding bicycles.

Why We’re Using Evee

We know AI is not everyone’s preferred cup of warm beverage. The tool can be super useful. The people pushing the tool? Well, now that's a conversation for after work. 

But for us, Evee has been genuinely useful. Not because it replaces care, judgment, or human accountability, but because it helps people find information we’ve already taken the time to create. It also helps our small team spend less time answering repeat questions and more time solving the issues that actually need our attention.

Vvolt has never had a large customer support department. What we do have is a small group of people who care about bikes, riders, and treating customers with respect. We’re proud of the support experience we’ve built, and we’re not interested in using AI to make it colder, harder to reach us, or more confusing.

Evee is simply another way to get you moving in the right direction.
