Ranger Battery Upgrade Kit For MPF Drive Vvolt Ebikes- 500wh
We've designed a reverse-compatibility installation kit to bring your 2021-2023 Vvolt with MPF mid-drive motor up to current compatibility with our UL2271-compliant 500wh battery and 3-pin charging system.
To use the new battery, you'll need to install a new motor power cable, charge port and battery dock. You can see our installation instructions here:
*Important note - this battery will not deliver range information or wattage output to your Xplova handlebar display. Your display will no longer show these options at the bottom of the screen. You'll still see your ODO and DST readings along with battery charge by "bars," current speed and PAS level. You can estimate % remaining by viewing this article in our help center.

Returns and Exchanges
- Return window: Parts and accessories may be returned within 14 days of purchase.
- Condition: Items must be unused, uninstalled, and returned in original packaging.
- Process: Contact support@vvolt.com for a Return Authorization (RA) number. Please include proof of purchase.
- Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping unless we sent the wrong item or the product is defective. We’ll point you toward the most affordable shipping option.
- Refunds: Once inspected and approved, we’ll refund to your original payment method (less original shipping charges, if any).
- Exceptions: Installed, used, or damaged components may not be eligible for return or may incur a restocking fee of up to 25%.
Shipping Information
Our shipping department is open Monday-Thursday. We can ship small components, accessories, and warranty parts 24-48 hours after the order is placed.
Small parts generally ship via USPS or UPS.
Larger accessories and batteries are shipped via UPS
Batteries are expensive to ship, and incur a $50 charge!
